The proposed development will conisst of a change of use from light industrial to a retail warehouse (furniture retailing and showroom) and will comprise: the internal reconfiguration of the ground and part first floor to provide retail showroom space, customer cafe at first floor level, ancillary areas, and staff facilities; the construction of a ground floor extension to the north elevation to provide additional retail showroom space; the construction of a ground and part first floor extension to the south west elevation of the building to provide a new entrance lobby and additional retail showroom space; a first floor external balcony for the proposed cafe on the east elevation; an extension to the internal floor level to provide additional retail showroom space; elevational alterations to include changes to the facade and fenestration; signage; removal of roof plant area; reconfiguration of entrance and car parking layout; and all site development, drainage and landscaping works.
